Ahrian Davis Tyler

Ahrian Davis Tyler, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, is a partner with the Firm of Christian & Small LLP and practices in the business section. Ahrian represents a diverse clientele in corporate matters including incorporations, acquisitions and business planning. She regularly works with companies and individual clients in tax planning and represents them before both federal and state agencies. She has a concentrated practice focused on executive and family estate planning that includes trust and probate administration. As part of her estate planning practice she also works with both individuals and organizations in charitable planning, exempt organizations and private foundations.

Current cases include federal multi-district and state antitrust for an international company, defense for trustees, executors and attorneys related to estate planning claims. She also serves as counsel for Probate Bond defense for a national insurance company on all of its Alabama cases.

Ahrian is the Co-Author of the Trust Handbook - Alabama and has served as a Continuing Legal Education Seminar Instructor in the areas of Estate Planning, Trusts and Probate Administration. Before joining the Firm, she served as Judicial law clerk to the Honorable Sharon Lovelace Blackburn, United Stated District Judge, Northern District of Alabama, while teaching as an adjunct Political Science Professor at the University of Montevallo. Before entering private practice, Ahrian was a tax associate in the Tax Department of Coopers and Lybrand, LLP.

Ahrian is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating for an attorney. She is a frequent lecturer at CLE events focusing on Estate Planning and Probate Administration and Litigation.
